This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") explains how Jessica Donaldson, trading as Sea & Soul Consulting (a sole trader based in New Zealand providing wellness tourism consulting services to clients worldwide), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information collected through www.seaandsoulconsulting.com (the "Site") and in the course of providing our services. References to "we", "us" and "our" are to Jessica Donaldson / Sea & Soul Consulting.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand). Because we work with clients around the world, we also have regard to the principles of other applicable data protection laws, such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where they apply to you.

What Personal Information We Collect

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address and phone number;

  • Booking information you provide when scheduling a discovery call or consultation through Calendly, including your preferred times, time zone and any details you share about your goals;

  • Information submitted through our contact form, such as your name, email address and the content of your message or enquiry;

  • Information submitted if you sign up to our email newsletter, such as your name and email address;

  • Payment and billing information, such as your billing name, address and transaction details, processed on our behalf by Stripe and PayPal (we do not directly collect or store full card numbers);

  • Invoicing information processed through Hnry in connection with our services to you;

  • Correspondence, such as emails and other communications you send us, which may be stored in Google Workspace; and

  • Technical and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information and browsing behaviour on our Site, collected automatically via Google Analytics and cookies (see Cookie Policy below).

How We Collect Personal Information

  • Directly from you, when you book a call, complete our contact form, sign up to our newsletter, or otherwise communicate with us;

  • Automatically, through cookies and similar tracking technologies when you use our Site; and

  • From our third-party service providers (such as Calendly, Stripe, PayPal and Google Analytics) in connection with the services they provide to us.

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Respond to enquiries made through our contact form;

  • Schedule and manage discovery calls and consultations;

  • Provide, manage and invoice for our wellness tourism consulting services;

  • Process payments;

  • Send you our email newsletter, where you have signed up to receive it (you may unsubscribe at any time);

  • Understand and improve how our Site is used; and

  • Comply with our legal and tax obligations.

Who We Share Your Personal Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with the following third-party service providers, solely for the purposes described above:

Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected consistently with this Privacy Policy, including by relying on these providers' own privacy and security safeguards.

We may also disclose personal information if required to do so by law, or to protect our rights or the rights of others.

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to meet our legal, accounting and tax reporting obligations, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, using a combination of our own security practices and the security measures of our third-party service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
